The writer, Kim Hyun-ah, induced a wave of emotions with her book "The Nurse's Letter" during the 2015 MERS outbreak and received "The Nurse of the Year" in 2016.

"The Nurse's Letter" depicts the environment in which nurses where they don't allow any mistakes and take full responsibility for the safety and health of their patients with heavy shoulders.

Recently, the human rights of nurses and the improvement of treatment have become social issues and this drama that centers around them will daw attention. Unlike typical medical dramas, "I Am a Nurse, a Human" means a lot more as it's all about nurses in the medical department.
