Jang Dong-gun will depart to attend Cannes

Actor Jang Dong-gun will depart to France to attend the Cannes International Film Festival today.

He will depart form Incheon International Airport on the 12th in the afternoon and participate in 3 nights and 4 days of the festival's events. He will attend the product release of his won movie "My Way" by director Kang Jae-gyu and focus on promoting it with movie makers as the main target.

"My Way" is a Korea, China and Japan coproduction about the complicated destinies of two men during the Second World War with Jang Dong-gun, Joe Odagiri and Fan Bingbing.

First being revealed through this product release, "My Way" will enter sales towards foreign buyers in Cannes.

This is the first time in six years Jang Dong-gun is attending this event after 2005 movie "Taegukgi". The 64th Cannes International Film Festival will be held from the 11th to the 22nd.
