Jang Keun-suk Appears on 'SMAP X SMAP' on Fuji TV

Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk appeared on Fuji TV's representative variety program "SMAP X SMAP" in Japan, his agency Tree-J Company said on July 12. Jang appeared in the feature of the program entitled "Bistro SMAP" and had a cooking competition with members of the group SMAP.

The agency said, "Jang Keun-suk pleasantly participated in filming while presenting his witty conversational ability and dancing with SMAP members during the program".

The producer of "SMAP X SMAP" said, "SMAP members all showed their great anticipation about the meeting with Jang Keun-suk, who has obtained huge popularity in Japan, and the atmosphere of the film set was very friendly. I think that viewers will definitely show a favorable response toward the program".

Many Hallyu stars such as Jang Dong-gun, Lee Young-ae, Lee Byung-hun, Choi Ji-woo, Ryu Si-won, kwon Sang-woo, and BoA have appeared on "Bistro SMAP" so far. The episode on which Jang Keun-suk appears will be broadcast as a special episode for 70 minutes on July 18.
