Singer and actress Jang Nara was in China to help the victims of a recent earthquake that shook the province of Sechuan in China.

The singer's official website said Jang delivered relief funds and supplies to Chinese officials in Bejing before flying to Sechuan Province the following day.

The relief funds collected by members of Jang's fan club will be used to assemble prefabricated school buildings. Relief supplies provided by the Korea Food for the Hungry International included medicine and clothes.

Jang headed to Vietnam on May 2 and held a concert with Vietnamese singers on June 1.
