Actress Jang So-yeon is starring in the movie "The Wailing".
"The Wailing" is a thriller about a village with mysterious rumors and cases. The film started its first filming on the 31st. Jang So-yeon stars as wife to the village police Joong-goo (Kwak Do-won). Hwang Jung-min stars as a shaman named Il-gwang and Chun Woo-hee stars as the mysterious woman.
Jang So-yeon is known for her excellent English speaking skills as seen in the drama "Secret Love Affair". She's starred in over 20 movies and dramas and has been acknowledged for her great acting.
Jang So-yeon said, "I am grateful to be able to work with such great people and I hope many people look forward to it".
"The Wailing" directed by Na Hong-jin will be released next year.
