Sidus announced in a press release that Park will be performing his solo single "Count on Me", for the first time ever, at the annual two-day "Summer Week&T 2010" music festival beginning August 7.

An official from Sidus said, "Park is concentrating on putting the best performance since this will be the first time he will take the stage to sing 'Count on Me' from his debut solo album".

The annual music fest, held at Naksan beach, is a grand scale concert that will feature some of the biggest names in the local and global music business.

This year, U.S. hip-hop superstars Kayne West and Lupe Fiasco will be headlining the show while other international recording artists include Calvin Harris and Two Door Cinema Club. Korean artists announced in the line-up are DJ DOC, House Rulez and Supreme Team.

Park, 23, made his debut as the leader of the popular K-pop band 2PM but left the group and the country last September when controversy fired up over remarks he wrote on his MySpace account while as a trainee at agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE).

He had been staying in the U.S. since, dancing with his b-boy crew Art of Movement and signing with American online media company Digital Media Wire (DMW) to manage his global career in the entertainment business.

The singer recently signed with major talenthouse SidusHQ and has been filming b-boy movie "Hype Nation 3D" since June. He released his solo debut single "Count on Me" last week and will kick off a fan tour starting August 28 in Seoul.
