The achievement came 182 days after its release on Nov. 12 last year. It garnered 100 million views in 23 days, the fastest pace for a Korean female solo singer, and 200 million in 90 days.

BLACKPINK also smashed a YouTube record recently. The lead track off their first mini album, "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du", hit the 800-million mark last Saturday -- the first time for a K-pop act.

Two other of their songs -- "As If It's Your Last" and "Boombayah" -- have drawn over 500 million views and three others -- "Play with Fire", "Whistle" and their latest "Kill This Love" -- over 300 million.

The four girls, who wrapped up their North American tour just last week, will embark on a European tour starting this weekend. They will perform in Amsterdam on May 18, Manchester on May 21, London on May 22, Berlin on May 24, Paris on May 26 and Barcelona on May 28.
