Jin Kyung, Jang Hyun-sung and Choi Dae-hoon in "Melancholia"

Jin Kyung, Choi Dae-hoon, Jang Hyun-sung, Byun Jung-soo, Kim Ho-jin, Baek Ji-won and Woo Da-vi have joined "Melancholia".

"Melancholia" is a drama about a story more beautiful than mathematics, which goes beyond conventional wisdom and prejudice of math teachers and math geniuses, set in the background of a private high school, a hotbed of preferential corruption.

The coming together of Lim Soo-jung (Ji Yoon-soo) and Lee Do-hyun (Baek Seung-yoo) drew a lot of attention. In addition, Jin Kyung (No Jeong-ah), Choi Dae-hoon (Ryoo Seong-jae), Byun Jung-soo (Yoo Hye-mi), Kim Ho-jin (Baek Min-sik), Baek Ji-won (Min Hee-seung) and Woo Da-vi (Seong Ye-rin) add excitement to the drama.

Jin Kyung will play No Jeong-ah, the influential figure of Asung Academy and the head of teaching at Asung High School, who carries out all kinds of preferential corruption under the title of the prestigious private school foundation. Choi Dae-hoon plays Ryoo Seong-jae, a policy adviser at the education office, who is the fiance of math teacher Ji Yoon-soo (Lim Soo-jung).

Jang Hyun-sung will then play Seong Min-joon, who will boost tension along with Jin Kyung. The wife of Seong Min-joon (Jang Hyun-sung) and top actress Yoo Hye-mi are played by Byun Jung-soo.

Kim Ho-jin and Baek Ji-won will play the role of Baek Min-sik, the father of Baek Seung-yoo (Lee Do-hyun), and Min Hee-seung, the mother of 'the missing math genius'.
