Jogye Temple Lawn Covered in Post-It Wishes

The front lawn of Jogye Temple in Jongno, Seoul is filled with star-shaped post-its with the New Year's wishes of visitors, a tradition all over Korea.

Some are wishes for jobs, others for prosperity, a soulmate, recovery from illness and entry to the college of choice.  

Increasingly, the most common wishes are less for sudden riches and more for happiness at home.
