On the tvN show "Taxi" in 2013, Joo Won said, "My nickname in school was Gang Dong-won. The movie "Temptation of Wolves" was popular back then.
"I saw a lot of good thanks to popular Gang Dong-won. I heard I looked like Big Bang's Choi Seung-hyun (TOP) when I was in the drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" so I felt bad".
Meanwhile, JTBC "News Room" featured Gang Dong-won as a weather caster.
