The Chinese movie with Jun Ji-hyun in the lead revealed its first stiil cut from "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan".

This still cut that was revealed online shows a simple looking Jun Ji-hyun in the 19th century as 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan'.

In this movie with Chinese top star Li Bingbing, Jun Ji-hyun is wearing dark complex makeup with her hair up in a bun with a line in the middle.

This is a totally different image from what she was, slim and sophisticated, being known as a fahionista as well.

In "Snow Flower and The Secret Fan" is based on a novel based on Chinese American Lisa See and is directed by Chinese American director Wayne Wang.

This movie is about how women shared friendship giving back and forth secret fans with secret writing and poems in the 19th century, at a time when women were oppressed.

In the movie Jun Ji-hyun is 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan' Seol Hwa and plays a role that has a friendship beyong age with Li Bingbing.

The movie "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" is to be released this July 15th in America and Australia the home of Hugh Jackman. National release hasn't been confirmed yet.
