JUNG Ji-hoon in Talks with The Wachowski Brothers

Pan-Asian pop star Rain – who uses his real name JUNG Ji-hoon for his acting career – is negotiating about a role in the Hollywood film Speed Racer of the directing duo the Wachowski brothers. JUNG's agency also announced that the talks have reached a final stage.
Speed Racer will be an adaptation of an action-packed Japanese manga comic book. The high speed race film's cast already includes Susan Sarandon and John Goodman. Filming of the project is scheduled from June this year.
JUNG played in Park Chan-wook's "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK" (Saibogeujiman Gwaenchanha). Before, he starred in popular television dramas, but his fame is mostly based on his superstar status as a singer.
The Wachowski brothers are the directors of the influential Matrix trilogy.
