Jung Woo to play lawyer in upcoming movie 'New Trial'

Jung Woo has confirmed his cast for the new movie "New Trial" (working title), which is a crime movie based on the Yakchon five-Way intersection murder case of a taxi driver.

Movie "New Trial" depicts a lawyer's long struggling lonely fight for a boy who was imprisoned for ten years after he was falsely accused of the Yakchon five-Way intersection murder case of a taxi driver in the year of 2000.

Jung Woo who always bring his character to life superbly in each of his movies and dramas has been receiving hot attention in terms of which project he will choose after his successful appearances in "Wish", 'Answer Me 1988', "C'est Si Bon" and "The Himalayas" He was fascinated with the scenario of "New Trial" and chose the movie for his screen comeback.

Jung Woo will play the enthusiastic lawyer Lee Joon-yeong, "New Trial". Lee Joon-yeong is a multi-dimensional character whose life changes after he meets a boy who was falsely accused of murder and has been imprisoned for ten years unfairly.

"New Trial" has completed main cast and will start filming in July.
