JYJ donated the revenue from their work as promotion ambassadors for the '2012 Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE)' held in Osaka last November.

JYJ have been actively engaged in promoting exchange and commercial co-operation between Korea and Japan as promotion ambassadors for the '2012 Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE)'.

JYJ also participated in the "UNICEF Awoo Doll Campaign" held in the KOTRA headquarters in October last year

JYJ member Kim Jae-joong said during the donation ceremony, "It's a shame that I'm the only member able to participate in the ceremony. I was delighted to take part in a bilateral exchange between Korea and Japan through the KBEE last year. Now I want to have the chance to help needy people".

He said, "I hope to give a helping hand to the children of the world who are struggling with famine and poverty through donations to UNICEF".

Oh Jong-nam, secretary-general of the Korean Committee for UNICEF said about the activities of UNICEF Korea in the ceremony, "Korea became a country that gives support to other countries after being a country supported by other countries through UNICEF for 54 years. The total amount of donations from Korea to UNICEF last year ranked seventh among the 36 nations". He added, "Revenue from the sale of Awoo Doll, the name of which originated from the names of JYJ members, will be used for good work"

The donation ceremony was covered by over 30 reporters from various media.
