Las Vegas is known as the entertainment capital of the world and K-pop fans have traveled from as far away as Asia to see their favorite stars perform here. K-pop idols TVXQ, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, 4Minute, SISTAR, G.Na and B2ST will perform at the famous MGM Grand Garden Arena to a packed house.

[Interview : G.Na, K-pop singer] "I think we all, all of us, we feel very blessed and very thankful for getting this opportunity to actually perform here in Las Vegas and show everyone what K-pop is actually really all about".

For the first time in history, K-pop artists will perform on the very stage where so many legends have been born.

[Interview : Mark Prouse, Spokesperson
MGM] "Obviously it's genre of music that has taken the world by storm. And we're so proud to present this event for the first time in America. So we're really excited about that".

The city of Las Vegas has declared November 25th "K-pop Masters Day".
And the first K-pop concert in Las Vegas kicks off this weekend.
For many of the K-pop artists, it is their first time in Sin City, so they're not just looking forward to performing, they also have plans to enjoy the electrifying city of Las Vegas.

[Interview : Yunho, K-pop group TVXQ] "More so than the venue, I feel a great responsibility to promote our culture and engage with everyone here. I'm sure all the artists feel like they're here not just as artists but also as representatives of Korea".

K-pop artists have been preparing for their show since they arrived, from rehearsals, to a press conference, and of course walking the red carpet.
But the pop idols also took time to get up close and personal with their fans, walking by to greet the crowd.

[Interview : K-pop fan] "I love them. I'm so glad that they came and hopefully they'll come more often because we all want to see them a lot here".

For the stars, and the fans, this is an event they've all been waiting for.

[Reporter : Elli Yi] "It truly is a power house where eight K-pop groups and artists have come together to share the stage here at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to make history. And fans have traveled from afar, to witness this exciting event, and say they look forward to many more K-pop events to celebrate "K-pop Masters Day".
In Las Vegas, I'm Elli Yi for Arirang News".
