Magazine Arena Homme Plus released an interview with Kang Hoon, who appeared in the SBS drama "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse".

Kang Hoon learned basketball until his first year of high school. He said that he still likes everything related to basketball, but as a basketball player, there is no regret that he couldn't finish it. "One day, I thought, 'I can't make a living with this'. That's how basketball became boring. I exercised for three months alone, thinking, "Can I get better as a basketball player again?" It didn't come back. So I quit and I have no regrets".

Kang Hoon learned horseback riding and swordsmanship while acting. Recalling the time when he first learned horseback riding, he said, "The scariest thing was the fall. My body stiffens because I think it'll hurt if I fall. One time, I fell off a horse and it didn't hurt". He said, "I've improved my skills since then", and added, "If I hadn't fallen at that time, I would have been scared all the time. People must experience everything in person", he said.

He recently appeared on SBS's "Running Man" and said he wanted to be a good adult to someone, watching Yoo Jae-suk and Haha, who gave him laughter as a child. "I'll also have a lot of filmography in the future, and I'm very grateful if someone remembers me. It's a vague imagination, but I'd be really happy if there was at least one person who started acting after seeing me. I myself, started acting by looking up to someone".
