Kang-Shin Sung-il to come back with "Night Door"

2013/04/09 | 1220 views | Permalink | Source

Actor Kang-Shin Sung-il is coming back with a movie for the first time in 20 years.

"Night Door" is about a man with cancer not being able to resist the feelings he feels for the caregiver that comes to his aid. Kang-Shin Sung-il takes on the role of this man who's lived his whole life according to the rules before he got cancer. The femme fatale caregiver will be played by Bae Seul-gi.

Kang-Shin Sung-il said, "It's not easy meeting a character as interesting as this at this age but I want it".

Bae Seul-gi said, "I was intrigued by the lines which might sound like nothing if you don't think about it but very ambiguous when you know what they mean".

The production says, "It wasn't easy finding an actor as good as Kang-Shin Sung-il. He was interested in our scenario and we are curious of what the other casts, Shim Eun-ha, Jin Hee-kyung and Jeon Do-yeon will create the movie into".

"Night Door" will crank in mid-April and be released towards the end of the year.
