Korean singer Kangta successfully wrapped up his solo concert in China over the weekend and donated all the proceeds to charity, according to his agency SM Entertainment.

SM said in a press release that the singer performed at the Wukesong Gymnasium on July 24 as part of the "KANGTA ASIA TOUR 2010 in Beijing", where he unveiled the title track from his upcoming Chinese album.

The setlist included a variety of songs including his previous solo hits "Polaris", "Last Summer Night" and "Persona", pop songs "Desperado" and "Right Here Waiting", songs by Chinese artists as well as H.O.T. hit songs such as "Candy", "Full of Happiness" and "Hope".

He also revealed four new tunes, including the title track from his full-length Chinese album which will be released later this year.

The concert also featured several notable performers including Chinese singer Zhang Li-yin who sang a duet with Kangta for the song "7989", veteran Korean singer Shin Seung-hoon and Super Junior members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk,Shindong and Donghae.

Near the end of the concert, the singer donated one million Yuan to the government based charity organization which will use the money to educate teachers who will teach unschooled children living in the mountains.

Kangta, whose real name is Ahn Chil-hyun, debuted in 1996 as the lead singer of five-member boy band H.O.T., the first idol group creation by major talent house SM Entertainment.

H.O.T., which stands for 'High-five Of Teenagers', became one of the most popular K-pop acts in Korea and throughout Asia as well. They released five studio albums, two live albums and two greatest hits records before disbanding in 2001.

Kangta embarked on a solo career after the group broke up, releasing several solo albums and collaborating with other singers including a pop duo act with popular Taiwanese singer Vanness Wu in 2006.
