It's not easy being a celebrity and being in the middle of a contract dispute doesn't make things any easier. Over the last couple of months though, Korean vocal group Kara have been facing those very difficulties which ultimately came out during a performance.

During a recent concert in Japan celebrating the last airing of the TV series, Urakara, the group were seen visibly shedding tears as they performed their song. While there could be many reasons for the group to shed tears, bloggers and journalists have been quick to jump to the conclusion the ongoing disputes that the singers have been battling behind the scenes. The singing group has been around since 2007 eventually spreading worldwide with 2010 featuring their debuts in both the US and Japan.

Once images of the tearful ballad performance started surfacing in the online community, fans responded with words of encouragement such as "It would be good if the Kara situation was amicably resolved soon" and "I want to see their smiling faces".

The contract dispute has been going on since January with members stating that they wished to leave their label, DSP Entertainment, for forcing tasks onto the performers and repeatedly denying other requests. Since then, one member has left the lawsuit and rejoined DSP citing that she wasn't entirely aware of the lawsuit details.

Hopefully this is all cleared up before long. I can only imagine just how messy of a contract dispute this is going to be but ideally the girls will be back to their happy, singing ways sooner rather than later.
