KBS hits the jackpot with Jang Hyuk, Kim Woo-bin and Park Bo-gum

KBS hit the jackpot. "Descendants of the Sun" hit it off big, "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho" is on top of its rank and even the new "Master - God of Noodles" is on a roll. Coming up next is "Uncontrollably Fond" and "Love in the Moonlight".

KBS is making a recovery from the nightmare of "Moorim School" and is making a new path.

There are no need for words about the success of "Descendants of the Sun" as the final episode recorded an astounding 38% and the drama syndrome has carried across Korea to all over Asia.

The success of "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho" is encouraging. Monday and Tuesday dramas are always in heated battle and "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho" was not even the least bit hyped. "Moorim School" ended in such disappointment that it was hard to maintain the flow of viewers at first and the competitions were so strong, it was unsure if "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho" would make it out alive. Park Shin-yang was the only hope.

Expectations were satisfied. Park Shin-yang brought "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho" to the top of the ranks in just four episodes and the fifth set a record. It's been at the top ever since.

The new "Master - God of Noodles" is on a roll. It topped the ranks in just two episodes. According to Good Data Cooperation, "Master - God of Noodles" was second in place for being talked about but after the second episode, it came in first, beating the SBS "Entertainers" by 1.4%.

The atmosphere around KBS is even more encouraging as follow-up "Beautiful Mind" starring Jang Hyuk and Park So-dam is coming up next on the 20th of June.

"Love in the Moonlight" starring Park Bo-gum and Kim You-jung is also one very looked forward to drama. It is based on Prince Hyo-myeong and revolves around young actors and actresses.

Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy's "Uncontrollably Fond" will be released in China and Korea on the 6th of July simultaneously. This drama is written by Lee Kyeong-hee and many are looking forward to it.

Pre-produced drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" is coming in November and December starring Go Ara, Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik. It is about the flower knights that went around Seorabol, the capital of Shilla 1,500 years ago.

In addition, the young intern writers of KBS are going to come up with 10 short dramas for every week. The 2016 KBS Awards is going to have a blast.
