KBS, Kim Sohye to star in "Drama Special - Kang Deok-soon's Love History"

I.O.I singer Kim Sohye is starring in the sixth KBS "Drama Special - Kang Deok-soon's Love History". She has been cast as the female lead of "Drama Special - Kang Deok-soon's Love History and the script reading was recently completed.

"Drama Special - Kang Deok-soon's Love History" is a human drama about Kang Deok-soon( Kim Sohye), a country bumpkin, who gets involved with the independence movement. She follows the man she loves to Gyeongseong, which opens her eyes to a new world. Oh Seung-yoon plays the man she is in love with

This is Kim Sohye's first KBS drama. She first debuted through the Mnet "Produce 101" and debuted with I.O.I. She then starred in variety shows and a web-drama called "Sea Story".

Meanwhile, "Drama Special - Kang Deok-soon's Love History" is director Hwang Seung-gi's first drama that will be broadcast on the 5th of October at 10 PM KST.
