Kim Dasom's transition from K-pop girl group member to actress recently took a big leap forward.

In the recent TV series "Sister is Alive", she played her first-ever unsympathetic character, giving her all in her performance as a wicked woman willing to stop at nothing to break out of poverty.

Kim Dasom debuted with the girl group Sistar in 2010, taking her first acting role two years later in a sitcom.

She made a favorable impression in her debut, and went on to build her acting career steadily in a series of roles that did not depart much from her lively, energetic image as the youngest member of Sistar.

It wasn't until "Sister is Alive" that she had an opportunity to really make an impact, and Kim Dasom nailed it.

Now Kim Dasom has viewers eagerly waiting to see where she takes her career from here.
