Kim Go-eun receives award for bringing honor to Korean films

Actress Kim Go-eun is getting a trophy for Most Popular Actress at the 2015 Honorary Korean Films Award hosted by the actors and actresses association.

The event is being held at the Conrad Grand Hotel and stars like Kim Myung-min, Jeon Do-yeon, Son Hyun-joo, Kim Woo-bin, Kim Kang-woo, Lee Yeon-hee, Lim Ji-yeon and others are going to be there.

Kim Go-eun is getting the "Most Popular Actress" award along with Kim Woo-bin, Kim Kang-woo and Lee Yeon-hee. Her performance in "A Muse" and "Coin Locker Girl" earned her this.

The Korean Actors and Actresses Association has been hosting this event to encourage those who play a big part in Korean films.

Meanwhile, Kim Go-eun is looking forward to the release of "Angry Lawyer" and "Memories of the Sword". She's currently filming "Canola" with Youn Yuh-jung in Jeju Island.
