Kim Hye-ja, The 1st Beautiful Artist Award, a hundred million won prize

Actress Kim Hye-ja has been awarded the 1st Beautiful Artist Award.

The Sin Yeong Gyoon Arts and Culture Foundation (Chairman Ahn Sung-ki) chose Kim Hye-ja as the winner of the 1st Beautiful Artist Award and revealed that the award giving ceremony will take place on the 26th at the Seoul Press Center. The Beautiful Artist Award goes to those who have been active in public culture and therefore made society that much warmer along with a hundred million won is prize money.

Kim Hye-ja has been chosen for this award for her services to the poor and needy children all around the world as the ambassador of the World Vision since 1991. The Sin Yeong Gyoon Arts and Culture Foundation was established at the start of this year and has been executing scholarships for the children of movie makers, supporting to-be movie makers and educating little children with movie experiences.
