Two of 'Nation of Wind', the masterpiece of Kim Jin-I, will be published soon.

Economics Media (Open the link) announced that they would provide the President Award '2008 Korean Comic Award' and two special editions which are the original ones of a KBS drama called 'Land of wind' would be published.

This work has been started from off-line series in 1992 and now is serialized in WE6 (http:.www.we6.co.kr) which has been operated by cartoon writers of medium standing. It has been published in book forms till volume 22 by Sigongsa (a publishing company). And Economics Media (a publishing company) published it from volume 23 to 25. The special edition is reconstructing volume 1 to 22 to 400 pages based on manuscript corrected by digital works.

'Nation of Wind' is a long story about the history of early Goguryeo with a main character called Muhyul who is the 3rd King 'Daemushin' based on a special imagination. The cultural contents of Goguryeo, which have been currently used as a good topic of a TV drama, are used first in the comic book. This story has been gaining a big popularity since it had been started in 1992 by Kim Jin-I. It has been awarded by 'A Reason to Live"'s Our Best Cartoon' from Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (Minister: In-Chon Yoo) as well as 'The Award of Japan East Asia Comic Book'.
