According to Kim Kang-min-II's agency Mystic Actors on the 14th, Kim Kang-min-II will appear in MBC's new drama "The Golden Spoon" (written by Kim Eun-hee and Yoon Eun-kyeong, and directed by Song Hyeon-wook and Lee Han-joon).

"The Golden Spoon" is based on Naver Webtoon of the same name. It is an adventure of a boy who stumbles across a magical golden spoon that allows him to switch with the rich parents of another boy. The drama throws the question if it's possible to change money and family and which of the two could be close to happiness. Actors Yook Sung-jae and Yeonwoo were selected as the main characters.

Kim Kang-min-II plays the role of a new character, Park Jang-goon, who is not in the original webtoon. Park Jang-goon is the son of an army chief of staff with a fortune of 200 billion won, and is a character who torments Lee Seung-cheon (Yook Sung-jae). He will show the acting of a rich young man struggling to join the gold spoon club "Amicus".

Kim Kang-min-II made his SBS "Stove League" debut in 2019. Since then, he has accumulated filmography by appearing in various works such as tvN's "Hospital Playlist", "Tale of the Nine Tailed", and KBS2's "School 2021". He recently reported on the release of season 2 of the web drama "To My Star".

"The Golden Spoon" will air in the second half of this year.
