Kim Young-dae from "Extraordinary You" Says His Charm Comes From 'Healthy Self-Esteem'

The Singles pictorial of actor Kim Young-dae, who played Oh Nam-joo in the recently ended MBC drama "Extraordinary You", has been released.

Kim Young-dae debuted in 2017 through a webdrama and has been busy with numerous webdramas and one-act plays for the last two years. "Extraordinary You" was his first feature drama. "I've never been in such a long drama before", said the actor, "so I felt physically pressured. However, I could learn a lot in terms of acting, and it helped me to reset my goals as an actor. Working with actors of similar age was fun too, which led to good results".

"Extraordinary You" starred Oh Nam-joo as a real 'exemplary' character with good looks. While playing this character, Kim Young-dae said, "I tried to bring out the innocent love for Yeo Joo-da (Lee Naeun) as much as possible. I focused on making them the point for viewers to realize that they were characters from a comic".

Kim Young-dae says that the source of his charm is 'healthy self-esteem'. He said, "There are so many attractive people in the showbiz, so I decided to make my special attraction my self-esteem. I have the courage to be honest".

About his goals for 2020, he said, "I don't look too far and try to focus on the present. You never know what's going to happen to anyone, so I set a goal and hope to be close to it at the end of the day. My first priority is to make good work. I hope to feel more grown in 2020".
