Korea Content Awards 2011 is held today

Korea Content Awards 2011 is held on 13th of December at GS Tower. Several Korean contents such as Cartoon, Animation, Character, broadcast film will be awarded at the event.

For the Overseas Pioneering award from the president goes to Nexon and CEO of Korean Connection. Nexon developed and exported various online games like Maple Story, Kart Rider, Dungeon&fighters to abroad. Korean Connection is the fan club of Korea and the center of HanRyu to Europe. It has more than 300,000 fans.

The grand prize for Broadcast film goes to "Sign" from SBS and "What is school?" From EBS. "Sign" is the medical drama about autopsy doctors and "What is school?" is the documentary with 10 episodes that question us about the roles of school to make students happy.

In addition, a drama "Secret Garden", a documentary "The Final Tundra" and "Korea's heritage", an entertainment show "Survival I am a singer" and "Love in Asia" was awarded from the ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. An animation called "Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild", a character "Cannimals", a cartoon "With Gods" was awarded from the president.

Korea Content Awards 2011, hosted by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency, will starts from 17:00 today.
