Korean Action Flick Tops Box Office on Opening Day

"Deliver Us From Evil", starring Hwang Jung-min and Lee Jung-jae, topped the box office with about 344,000 moviegoers on its opening day on Wednesday.

The action flick shattered the opening-day pull of "Steel Rain 2: Summit" at 220,000 but fell short of "Peninsula", which drew 350,000 when it opened on July 15.
