Korean Baseball League Season Begins with Record Attendance

The regular season of the Korea Baseball Organization League began on Saturday.

In the first two days of the opening, a total of 214,340 fans attended games at five stadiums. Attendance was 114,028 on Saturday, a record for an opening day, and 100,312 on Sunday. 

Each team will play 144 games over the next six months.

The defending champion SK Wyverns won their first two games over the KT Wiz. The LG Twins also got off to a great start, beating the Kia Tigers in both games.
