Korean enterprises and schools show their power in '2008 SIGGRAPH'

'2008 SIGGRAPH', which is the biggest global computer graphics conference, has been progressed in LA Convention Center from 10th to 17th. In this event, Korean universities and enterprises have been showing their great technologies.

In 2008 SIGGRAPH, about 200 of best global enterprises such as Intel, Google, Autodesk, Disney, Sony, Lucas Art, and Blue-sky have been participated to show present technologies.

Among them, Korean schools and enterprises like CT graduate school of KAIST, Hongik University, and Korea National University of Arts have been participated to show Korean 3D technologies.

And also Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Korea Culture & Content Agency, Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and Gyeonggi Digital Contents Agency have been participating to see the present 3D animation for aggressive promotion.

Korea Culture & Content Agency (By Seok-Man Koh, the director) has been covering the full expenses of participating '2008 SIGGRAPH' to reinforce the technology of cultural contents through the present information service. Last months, two specialists were selected to cover their expenses. The specialists will be in a seminal to deliver the present technologies they learned in 2008 SIGGRAPH to Korean enterprises and schools.
