Gay Actor to Go on TV Talk Show With Parents

Actor Hong Suk-chun, who wrote a new chapter in history by becoming the first public figure in the country to openly admit that he is homosexual, will be on a television talk show with his parents.

It is the first time Hong's parents will appear on TV since Hong came out publicly.

The program, "Lee Honglyol, Park Ju-mi's Yoyumanman", on KBS 2 TV recorded a show featuring Hong and his parents Tuesday. Hong talks about his life after coming out and episodes with his parents.

The show will be aired next month, according to the broadcasting company.
