The boys, clad in pastel-colored suits, appeared to a storm of applause and performed live against a fairytale-like, dreamy backdrop with neon lighting.

Their appearance, which completely won over the usually reserved British audience, was arranged by Kim Nae-jin, who works as a freelance art director for TV shows in the U.K.

"I felt great and thankful. Not many fans scream and cheer here. I was thrilled hearing loud cheers from the audience", Kim said.

She said she never thought she would direct a stage for BTS. After majoring in theater design at Central Saint Martins and further studies at Kingston University in London, Kim worked for a number of reality TV shows in the U.K. and Europe.

BTS perform on U.K. reality show "Britain's Got Talent" in London on May 30.

"Engaging in the field of theater design in the land of Shakespeare thrilled me, but there wasn't much room to experiment with things on classical plays", she recalled. That was one of the reasons Kim turned to TV shows.

During BTS' performance at the show, she was only able to glimpse BTS from afar, as they were surrounded by bodyguards. "But having Koreans on the stage that I directed at the center of British pop culture was something that I will never forget", she said.
