Biography

Kim's short "Today, Mostly Sunny" (2003) and his feature "Listening to the Voice of a Wind" (2005) were first recognized outside Korea, being shown at the Santa Fe International Film Festival and Cinequest, respectively. His joint Korean-US film "HERs" (2007) won the JJ-Star award at the Jeonju International Film Festival 2007, and his Korean-Japanese co-production "Oishi Man" (2008) debuted at the Busan International Film Festival.
