Biography

Born in 1962. In 1992, Prachya had the opportunity to direct his first feature film ‘The Magic Shoes’, followed in 1994 by his second film “Romantic Blues’. Prachya began working on ‘Ong Bak’ in 1999, working as both director and producer. The film was completed in 2003. Prachya has produced many popular Thai Hits including the vampire movie ‘Body Jumper’ (2001); action comedy ‘Heaven 7’ (2002); horror movie ‘999-9999’ (2002) the musical ‘Hoedown Showdown’ (2002). He is currently preparing for his fourth film, ‘Tom Yum Goong’ due to be released in 2004.
