Yoon-ah (played by Jung In-sun) is the final member of the main cast - the mother of the abandoned baby. Although she's the same age as the male leads, Yoon-ah consistently and somewhat impressively manages to come off as even more dumb than they are. The preview appears to imply that Seo-jin didn't even tell her ex-boyfriend...More

"Laughter in Waikiki" sounds like a dramatized version of "Real World" from what little we know: a group of people live in a guest house in Itaewon. Because this is a K-drama, I doubt there will be anything too racy and we'll get more comedy than "Real World" dramatics, but the '90s reality television lover in me can't help but go there...More

While not terribly informative, the first teaser for "Untouchable" is quite sleek and visually well put together. What I gather from it is that there is some action, some car scenes, a man hanging off a building, and Kim Sung-kyun looking a tad menacing. We have a little time before it starts at the end of November so we can get a better grasp on what we're getting ourselves into...More

With it's ambient teasers, "The Package" is really shaping up to be a free-wheeling romance during travel. I wonder if the love will be permanent, or as enjoyable and short-lived as a summer fling. The pensiveness of Erik Satie's Gymnopédie No.1 in the background perhaps hints to something a bit grander than a fling...More
The final three episodes of "Somehow 18" were rather shorter than I expected, considering how all of the middle ones had made such a point of running in two parts. "Somehow 18" had even gone to the trouble of introducing an extraneous sub-plot in the form of a romance between Kyeong-hwi's older sister and his idiot friend. But here? The conclusion is just a big date and finally, the true circumstances behind Na-bi's suicide. These were predictable, obviously, although part of the story's point is that mere predictability isn't enough to effect meaningful change...More
