Korea no longer exists. The year is 2009, one hundred years after the whole of East Asia has been unified under the name of the 'Japan Empire'. In Seoul, the third major city of Japan, a relics exhibition is organized by Inoue, a leading figure in politics. In the midst of the opening ceremony members of the Hureisenjin (Chosun Liberation Movement) infiltrate the exhibition hall and turn the ceremonies into chaos. Sakamoto Masayuki, special agent of the JBI (Japan Bureau of Investigation), and his best friend Saigo Shojiro are committed to put down these terrorist activities. The resistance are suppressed ten minutes after the incident, but Sakamoto has doubts about the motives of the group in attacking a nonpolitical exhibition. Sakamoto argues for a close reinvestigation of this terrorist incident, but comes into conflict with JBI headquarters, which wishes to cover up the case. Sakamoto decides to investigate the matter on his own, and begins to discover the existence of a grand conspiracy stretching back to 1909, the year Korea was taken over...
