37-year-old Yuna is struggling through day by day in this handful reality. She gets a call. It's the hospital letting her know her mother is on her death bed. Yuna earns a vacation from the restaurant where she works, then leaves on a vacation for the first time in 10 years. The next morning, her boss Min-jae comes by to give her a ride.
As they get closer to Jeonju, where her mother is, Yuna gets more and more anxious. Yuna suggests to Min-jae to go to delicious restaurants, to buy her the most beautiful and expensive coffee and even suggests they stop by a famous landmark. Min-jae thinks this is weird as this is not the behavior of a daughter who is about to meet her dying mother. That night, Min-jae hears her story at the pension they are staying in for the night...
Yuna has had an unfortunate childhood and she struggles even as an adult. One day she gets a call that her mother is dying and sets out to meet her. This trip back home is like a vacation to Yuna...
