While Byeon Yeong-joo, director of the movie "Helpless" was chosen as the The Women's Moviemaker 2012, she sent director Kim Tae-yong of the movie "Late Autumn - 2010" a congratulations message on the scandal with Tang Wei.

Byeon stood on the stage of the award giving-away event on the 5th and said, "I am grateful to the productions of "Helpless", Kim Min-hee and the other actresses, the arts director and other female staff. I am happy to know I am one who gets incentives as a director. It's the best thing".

Director Kim sent a message congratulating him of the award through a video. He also mentioned, "Don't believe any rumors. If you call me the second time you think of me then I'll always be ready" as if he was talking about the scandal and surprised everyone.

Byeon said, "Thank you Kim Tae-yong. I haven't been hanging out with directors below a millions viewers lately and it's been a long time. It just happens that way. I hope you work it out well" he joked.
