Lee Eun-joo to Star in 'Firebird'

Film actress Lee Eun-joo, who played a supporting role in the recent blockbuster "Taegukgi", will return to the small screen after four years. Lee has signed up for the television drama "Pulsae (Firebird) on MBC, which will debut on the Monday-Tuesday slot after the hit series "Taejanggum" finishes its run.

Besides "Taegukgi," Lee has starred in various films, including "Oh! Sujong (Bride Stripped Bare By Her Bachelors)" in 2000 and "Yonae Sosol (Lover's Concerto)" in 2002.

Lee will star as a woman from a rich background who marries and divorces a man from a poor family. The two meet again after the financial situations of both families have switched. The drama is scheduled to begin broadcasting on April 5.
