Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who is in charge of directing and writing "Squid Game", reportedly decided to produce seasons 2 and 3 at the same time after discussions with Netflix, and agreed to shoot 13 episodes at once and release them sequentially.

Recently, "Squid Game" began filming for the season 2 test, and the first shooting will begin in earnest in July. As seasons 2 and 3 are filmed at the same time, the filming period will also take more than 10 months.
