Lee Ki-woo cast for "The Virus" as genius contagion scholar

Actor Lee Ki-woo has been cast for the upcoming OCN TV series, "The Virus".

He takes on the role of Kim Se-jin, a genius infection scholar. He is a soft but cold character who struggles to save the citizens from the virus along with Lee Myeong-heon (Uhm Ki-joon) who leads the crisis team.

Lee Ki-woo was in the role of producer Ryu, a perky but considerate and romantic character previously in the MBC sitcom "Standby".

"The Virus" is a 10 part medical thriller of a virus which only takes 3 days to kill since the day of infection.
