Past week, I was in the mood for some light-hearted romance drama. After some recommendations from friends and careful consideration, I decided to go with "The Liar and His Lover". I've been meaning to hit this drama up since my dear Lee Hyun-woo was in it and wanted to check out Joy's first acting ever!
While binge-watching this cute show though, I caught the incurable disease… called "Sub Disease". It's a heartbreaking condition you catch when you fall in love with the sub character instead of the main character. K-drama is always fun and more interesting with a little love triangle happening among the main characters and you know that only two out of the three will become the couple of happily-ever-after. So, if you fall in love with the one that's left out, it becomes really hard on you to watch the drama lol Last time I caught the Sub Disease was when I was watching "Answer Me 1988".
Meet actor Lee Seo-won, and feel for yourself why I fell so hard for him!
The reason why I fell so hard for him is because of his eyes. The way he looks at Joy is just so mellow. That sweet adoring gaze, it's killing me. It's as if he is shooting some sugar beams out of his eyes.
Also, the gap between his treatment towards Joy vs. all other people are such a lovely charm point. He is normally a cynical and a brutally honest individual, but in front of Joy? The sweetest man alive.
He is born in 1997, which makes him 20 years old and way younger than me, but I'm so ready to call him oppa.
As a young actor, he hasn't been on many shows yet but he is getting many people's attention as he appeared in "Uncontrollably Fond" and "The Liar and His Lover". He's only been on 3 shows so far in his budding career but on the 3rd drama of his career, he already got a part as one of the main character, which speaks volume.
Also, he is walking right behind the path of his senior actors from the same agency, actor Song Joong-ki and actor Park Bo-gum as he is currently hosting a music show as a MC like they did before becoming world famous. It is expected that he will have a future as bright as those two coming to him!
