Lee Seung-gi Dreamed of Becoming a Dispatch Soldier After Watching "Descendants of the Sun"

Actor Lee Seung-gi almost went abroad as a dispatch soldier.

Naver V Live met with Lee Seung-gi who is back with the movie "The Princess and the Matchmaker".

Park Kyung-rim mentioned his military date and Lee Seung-gi said, "Military takes up half my life now. The day I went in was cold and I was cool about it and went to Nonsan, but things became un-cool when I got there".

"The training camp is really cold and everyone is always sick. I tried to overcome it, but it wasn't easy and I didn't want to seem like I was against the whole group".

Park Kyung-rim said his absence seemed very long. Lee Seung-gi said, "There were rumors that I was going for sergeant or even a dispatch troop. I was sent to Special Warface Command when "Descendants of the Sun" was hot. The uniform Song Joong-ki wore could only be worn in one country which was recruiting just one person from my branch. I thought it was a sign and told the commander I wanted to go and he told me to wake up. Thankfully, I didn't go and enjoyed more training on base".

"I was offered to stay because apparently I was good enough. As a joke they would give me application forms. Lee Soo-geun and Kim Jong-min came to see me".
