The woman who spread rumors that Lee Seung-gi has a child, was slapped with a fine.

Last year in June, a rumor started about singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, saying that he had a child. Apparently, he had a child with his ex-makeup artist and was in contact with the child. A picture of a woman went around and made the rumor seem even more realistic.

While the rumors spread, Lee's management made strong confrontation.

According to Channel A, the rumor was started by someone who works in a telecommunications company. She made it all up and spread it online. She was fined 1 million won for defamation.
