Actor Lee Sun-kyun and actress Kim Min-hee have been cast for director Byeon Yeong-joo's "Helpless". The two have confirmed to go on board and are just about to sign their contracts. "Helpless" is a dramatized version feature film of a Japanese writer's original work and Byeon Yeong-joo's first project in 7 years.
The original "Hoacha" is about the process of a detective who traces his fiancé who disappeared after creating a huge debt and reveals the dirt about credit cards, loans, install payments and the modern credit society. Director Byeon Yeong-joon is going to dramatize it according to the Korean society. Lee Sun-kyun is the detective and Kim Min-hee is the disappeared woman. The productions for the movie will finalize casting and investments and start shooting this May.
