LG Chief Donates W1 Billion to Coronavirus Vaccine Research

LG Group chief Koo Kwang-mo donated W1 billion of his own money to help the International Vaccine Institute develop a vaccine for coronavirus (US$1=W1,197).
The IVI's Korean office said Koo wants his donation to help "speed up vaccine development and help overcome difficulties as the COVID-19 threatens the health of the human race".
The IVI said the money will be used to fund research on vaccines and clinical trials worldwide.
