Actress Lee El is getting ready to greet the viewers with the upcoming movie "What a Man Wants". "What a Man Wants" has already gathered attention before the movie has even release its trailer as this adult comedy boasts of the finest actors and actresses as the main cast members.
Along with actors Lee Sung-min, Shin Ha-kyun, and actress Song Ji-hyo, Lee El proudly presents the movie "What a Man Wants". After acting out many unique characters such as a transgender woman, a monster, and even the hemp sandals grandmother in "Goblin", Lee El is now returning with the role Je-ni, the goddess of affairs. Regarding her wide variety of unique roles, Lee El shared, "It is true that I do get a lot of offers for such characters, but it is also because I am both interested and attracted to such characters".
"Since I have been acting a lot of those special characters, I did have a desire to take a bit of an ordinary character this time. That is part of why I chose Je-ni from "What a Man Wants". Even though she is the goddess of affairs, she is very different from all the stand-out characters I've played so far".
"You will see that I eliminated bold makeup and sexy clothing in this movie. When I was discussing the creation of the character with the director, we decided to find most natural and comfortable image for Je-ni".
Since Lee El plays a lot of characters who have a striking impact in the show, she has an image of a confident, strong woman but she shared that in real life, she is quite gentle and naïve. She shared, "You could say that I'm stubborn in pushing towards my beliefs. However, in many interactions with others in my daily life, I'm really soft. I'm kind of slow with my words, especially coming up with an answer to a sudden question since I tend to overthink".
The movie "What a Man Wants" features the topic of affairs among immature adults. Regarding the movie, Lee El shared her thoughts, saying, "I think this movie is about a curiosity. The movie talks about the questions such as "Can I really love again?" or "Can I be loved by someone again?" and I think those are the type of questions even I think about".
When the actress was asked by the interviewer if she would be able to forgive her boyfriend or husband who cheated on her, she answered, "I think I'll be able to forgive just once. I would want him to come back to me".
