The director of the new variety show, "All the Butlers" said, "Yook Sung-jae loves and admires Lee Seung-gi so much, to the point of choosing Lee Seung-gi as his role model. He even decided to join "All the Butlers" immediately after hearing that Lee Seung-gi is one of the main cast".
He continued, "We actually did not know that Yook Sung-jae's role model was Lee Seung-gi. I mean, we knew that Yook Sung-jae is a talented young man, managing to be brilliant in the K-pop boy group BTOB, drama acting, and even in variety shows just like Lee Seung-gi. They do resemble each other a lot. We love Yook Sung-jae because of his diligence and sense of humor, which was a perfect fit since we wanted Lee Seung-gi to have someone younger than him in this variety show, rather than the youngest position he always has".
The director also added, "Yook Sung-jae is not just a shy youngest member, though. He has much respect and admiration for all of the older cast members, but still has sass when it's needed. It's no wonder that he has the nickname of 'Yook-jal-tto' (Short for 'Yook Sung-jae is handsome but crazy'). The viewers may expect great things from him in "All the Butlers".
Regarding the love Lee Seung-gi has for Yook Sung-jae, the director shared, "When Yook Sung-jae left the meeting for a little while, Lee Seung-gi shared with the staff how much he reminds him of his younger days, being a fresh sprout in the entertainment industry".
The show is scheduled to air on the upcoming 31st of this month before the end of 2017.
