Directed by British filmmaker Daniel Gordon, the 2004 documentary tells a story of two female North Korean gymnasts who dedicate themselves to the Mass Games. Gordon, the first foreigner to shoot a documentary in Pyongyang, sheds light on the lives of ordinary people in North Korea through the two gymnasts, apart from any political stance. In the documentary filmed the secretive communist nation for about six months, 13-year-old Park Hyon-sun and 11-year-old Kim Song-yon practice their skills for honoring their "Dear Leader" Kim Jong-il, but lead an ordinary life like others in other countries. Along with "A State of Mind", the director's first documentary on North Korea will be also be shown at theaters for the first time. "The Game of Their Lives" in 2001 is a story about the big breakthrough of the North Korean national football team in the 1966 World Cup football competition. The two documentary films are shown at Hypertheque Nada near from Taehangno Subway Station and Kangbyong CGV near from Kangbyon Subway Station.

Directed by Kim Dae-seung of the 2000 melodrama "Bungee jumping of their own", the movie is a period piece set in the Choson Kingdom (1392-1910). The thriller tells of a serial murder case that takes place on a deserted island. The film stars Cha Seung-won, Park Yong-woo and Ji Sung. Tickets: 3,000 won.
